FINALLY FALL

I have seen so many lovely fall decorations lately.  I was a little slow getting the fall decor out due to a hectic work schedule and a little stint in the hospital for a bout of the whooping cough (did you know you should get a booster as an adult because I didn't).   I debated even decorating for fall and moving right on into Christmas but I knew I would miss it if I didn't do it, especially since I have a big Thanksgiving get together at my home every year.   I didn't decorate as much as I normally would have but I am enjoying what I have done.  What do you think?

Front Porch All "Falled" Up

Sadly I removed the last of the summer flowers and other summer things off of my front porch and it looked so bare and lonely so I decided to add some fall to it.   It's only 49 degrees here in the panhandle of West Virginia so I didn't get as much done as I would have liked.   I think I'll finish at the end of the week when it returns to the 70s.  I've seen a couple blogs that have some lovely wreaths so I'll use those for inspiration and spend the next couple of days making one.
